Vaï – Système de translittération ALA-LC
Clavier virtuel vaï
Le clavier virtuel vaï vous permet d’entrer les caractères directement à la souris. Plus besoin d’adapter votre clavier pour entrer du texte dans un autre alphabet. La translittération de chaque caractère supporté est affichée à droite du caractère. Vous pouvez ensuite directement convertir votre texte d’un alphabet à l’autre en fonction du système de translittération choisi.
Système de translittération : ALA-LC
ALA-LC est un ensemble de normes de romanisation, ou de représentation des textes dans d’autres systèmes d’écriture en utilisant l’alphabet latin. Ce sigle regroupe les initiales de l’Association des Bibliothèques américaines (ALA) et de la Bibliothèque du Congrès (LC). Ce système est utilisé pour représenter les noms de références bibliographiques par les bibliothèques en Amérique du Nord et de la British Library, ainsi que dans des publications à travers le monde anglophone.
